Just took this off the saw a little while ago.  Showing my wife some patterns and this is the only one she has ever requested I cut for her.  I was glad she did because I love this pattern.  It was difficult because the piece of wood I selected to cut it in was difficult.  Not sure what it is, but not one of the easiest woods I have cut.  But I made it.  It is an Alex Fox pattern.  Several on here have cut it.  Great pattern as is all of his.

That is a lovely pattern by @alexfox  You did a fabulous cutting job Paul.  Glad you persevered with the tough wood.

Great job, it is advanced pattern and cutting it with the tough wood - it is twice difficult !

I went back and checked my wood order.   It is Butternut.  First time I have used it.  The description says it is soft and lightweight.  It is....  Even softer than Basswood.

Great cut! I am cutting one of Alex's patterns in butternut right now as well. Very soft indeed.

She is getting it straight because she supervised me cutting it.

Great job on a great pattern , I have yet to cut an Alex Fox pattern but it is on the list to do at some point, Supervision is always a good thing until you make a mistake and try to hide it without her indoors seeing it  You are a brave man having wifey supervise especially as it was for her too.
