Scrappile
I mentioned some time ago about having a request for making a Hamsa box, (Carole Rothman design) for a pole dance instructor in Brazil> I finally finished. This was a real struggle for me, I and Cocobolo wood do not get along. But it is done. Like mention the main wood is Cocobolo, the veneer is Curly Maple. The red part of the eye is painted some other veneer and the black middle is a piece of Water Buffalo horn I turned. The last one of these I will make and the last Cocobolo I will sand. Well at least for a while. I hope it goes with her tattoo! Lucky2
Paul, even with the issues with the wood, you did an amazing job bringing this together. It looks fantastic, that curly maple is amazing. Len Scrappile
