JOE_M
Saw a pic, that led me to another pic, then a video, then this video. Anyone know the price, or where to buy? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqH51cqntgk
stoney
I didn't find any pricing with a google search Joe. The blade stabilizer is interesting though. I modified the hold down on my Hegner Multimax 22V so it acts as a hold down as well as a blade stabilizer. It works well. I have arthritis in my hands and it works really well especially for thick hardwoods which is all I use it for.

Dan
Love the table size. And it looks like a very effective dust collection built in. Cool machine.
Sycamore67
If you have to ask the price, you can not afford it. SCROLLSAW703 and hawkeye10

Asking the price insures that you have the information to DETERMINE if you can afford it, or not. People who live on a budget always check the price. Sycamore67
In this case, it is a large 2000# machine and is likely to be very expensive. Looking at the company and specs for the machine it will be many thousands of dollars. Of course I ask the price and tried to find the price on this one. In this case the comment was a joke and not serious.
JOE_M
I think it would be a couple grand, but I don't see it being too much more than that - it's big, but there's no computer, no servo motors, nothing fancy really it's just size (55 or 63 inches). I think that's the overall size - I've got a knee mill and had a lathe that were bigger. Usually the # has something to do with capacity so 1400/1600 in mm is where I got 55/63 inches. I could of course be wrong, still haven't found any industrial dealers in the US advertising it. It's been 5 years, maybe laser-cutting CNC has taken over whatever niche it would have filled. I'm going to keep haunting the used machinery websites, maybe I'll get lucky and find the one factory in America that bought one before going belly up. OCtoolguy
It seems like I just saw this one advertised somewhere and it's asking price was $3300. My memory is not the best so it might have been more. Ray

Alibaba is a big importer. https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Precision-Scroll-Saw-Machine_12044961.html?spm=a2700.7724857.main07.409.92572b4MTTOB0 JOE_M
Rockytime
Interesting. There are also several others that look interesting. OCtoolguy
JOE_M
Well that was quite a rabbit hole. No specs there, but I clicked on one of the others and for less than a grand it will cut 4" but it takes a 12" blade. From there I found another one that costs either $1 or $3000 (Are they not sure how much???) The entire page is written in Chinglish except the description, which seems to be "borrowed" from wikipedia: " Scroll saws are often used to cut intricate curves and joints, a task they can complete quickly and with great accuracy." I've been contemplating buying a big load of pen kits from Alibaba. Worst case scenario there is I'm out a couple hundred bucks. I'm not sure I'd use them for something this big though unless I'd seen it in person somewhere else first.
Dan
I wonder what cost more the saw or the shipping?

I mean the top of the line Hegner is $3350, and it is somewhat smaller and a little less powerful that that machine! OCtoolguy
OCtoolguy
This is where I saw it. I guess I must have dreamed the price. Steve Good was the person who introduced it back in 2012. http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.com/2012_07_26_archive.html Ray
