wombatie
I finished this in August. It was a special request from my grandkids as a gift to Papa for Fathers Day, but of course I got sick, so Fathers Day got postponed for a week or so. Stack cut 2 gave the other to a friend that is a Dr Who nut. Anyway the pattern was done by @Aggie for me, so thanks Terry it was well received. Cut from 2.5mm bamboo with 2/0 reverse tooth Olson blades. Marg Sam777, Birchbark, Scrolling Steve and 6 others 8

Lucky2
Marg, what's it like to cut bamboo, is it like cutting any other wood? Len

Len It is easy to cut and very little sanding, there are no voids because of the way it is glued together. Fairly strong too considering it is only 2.5mm thick. I love it. BUT the down side is it is very splintery, so apparently you have to be careful not to get any in your fingers because they are very hard to get out and easily become infected.
