Denny Knappen Posted October 24, 2017 Report Posted October 24, 2017 Steve Good posted a pattern for a spiral basket last week, but like Steve I couldn't make it spiral. I used 1/2" Zebrawood and cut every other ring. I really like the look of Zebrawood grain. I used FD UR #3 blades and finished with spray Shellac. Comments welcome. Scrappile Posted October 24, 2017 Report Posted October 24, 2017 Denny I agree Zebra wood is beautiful as is your bowl. I'm a little confused when you state you "cut every other ring". Can you explain? Quote

I thought it would be a little too fragile, so I cut every other ring making the rings 1/2" thick. I hope this explains. Scrappile 1 Quote
Scrappile Posted October 24, 2017 Report Posted October 24, 2017 (edited) It does explain it, kinda what I thought but I had not seen the pattern. Thanks for the response. Edited October 24, 2017 by Scrappile Quote
