Scrappile Posted October 25, 2017 Report Posted October 25, 2017 I say again, I wish you and I lived close together so you could teach me. This is an awesome plaque! Man you do awesome inlay. Have you thought of trying Marquetry? I am going to try it this winter. Heppnerguy gave me a big box of veneer before he moved and became Arizonaguy. I have got to try using it to make Marquetry pictures. You would be a natural at it. tomsteve and Dave Monk 2 Quote
Dave Monk Posted October 25, 2017 Author Report Posted October 25, 2017 Scrappile, I have watched some videos on Marquetry.........Looks pretty challenging.........Been scrolling for almost two years now and not really interested in starting a new hobby yet. Who knows......maybe when I am ready for a new challenge. Thanks for the kind words. Quote
Rob Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Your inlay is always spot on Dave. One day I'll try it. Rob Dave Monk 1 Quote
rjweb Posted October 26, 2017 Report Posted October 26, 2017 Dave that is beautiful, your inlay work is excellent, for someone who has only been cutting for 2 years you are a pro, I have been doing it about 5 years and my work doesn’t look as good as yours. Did you use your new saw to do this, RJ Dave Monk 1 Quote

Dave Monk Posted October 27, 2017 Author Report Posted October 27, 2017 Thanks to all or you for your nice comments. The part that is sad to me is................I do a farmers market every Saturday morning first of May until the first of October.........I sell a ton of stuff in the $20-$30 range. It is very hard for me sell the kind of stuff like this plaque. Quote
Scrappile Posted October 28, 2017 Report Posted October 28, 2017 That is because, none-scrollers are born stupid!!!! Dave Monk, Phantom Scroller and GPscroller 3 Quote
