Boy fishing from a pattern by Grampa.  Reclaimed rimu finished with two coats of tung oil.  I love this pattern and have cut it before.

Thanks Paul.  That is an entirely happy accident!  Next time I cut it I will have to remember that and try and find some wood with suitable grain.

That came out great Rob I remember cutting this pattern too it is a great one from Grampa and you done it proud as Paul said the grain around the water is a great position of pattern  never admit to accidents
