Montserrat Posted October 28, 2017 Report Share Posted October 28, 2017 A friend wanted something that represented a turtle and a squirrel. So after some design ideas, I made a turtle box that contains a little squirrel and some tiny acorns. The turtle is made from one piece of walnut. The inlays of the shell are from the other side of the same piece (sap wood). Squirrel is cherry and the acornlets are padouk.
