I have to say that I had to copy Jim Flinn and make a cedar inlaid trinket box. I can't compete with him but I am happy with it. Sure different doing an inlay in cedar compared to hardwoods like I'm used to. I'm used to making them tight and tapping them in. Cedar splits super easy.  Took me a couple of tries.

Ah yes such a pretty wood and and problematic too ,so brittle to work with.lovely box!What a craftsman you are!

Six months out of the year we live in Justin, TX.  If any of you Texans make it close please look me up. Not many have heard of Justin but if you are a Nascar fan ( which I'm not) I live a couple miles from Texas Motor Speedway.
