Popular Post Dave Monk
I have to say that I had to copy Jim Flinn and make a cedar inlaid trinket box. I can't compete with him but I am happy with it. Sure different doing an inlay in cedar compared to hardwoods like I'm used to. I'm used to making them tight and tapping them in. Cedar splits super easy. Took me a couple of tries. Lucky2
Dave, it may have taken a couple of tries, but you mastered it in the end. It's perfect, and I would happily put your inlay work up against anybody else's. Nothing against Jim's work, it's just that I've seen more of yours. If any of you Texans make it close please look me up. Not many have heard of Justin but if you are a Nascar fan ( which I'm not) I live a couple miles from Texas Motor Speedway.
