Popular Post Blaughn Posted November 5, 2017 Popular Post Report Posted November 5, 2017 (edited) This is a plaque I designed and scrolled for a dear friend. The plaque is cut in .45" Jatoba and is finished with danish oil and wipe-on poly. The font used for the word Redeemer is Parchment with massive simplification for the capital R to make it scrollable. By comparison to my last project, this was a relatively easy pattern to cut. The plaque measured 12.5 x 7 5/8. If there is interest, I will upload the pattern. (Edit: I have uploaded the inkscape file pattern) Edited November 6, 2017 by Blaughn Dan, Lucky2, New Guy and 9 others 12 Quote
trackman Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Great cutting! Letters are some of the hardest things to cut. Blaughn 1 Quote

meflick Posted November 6, 2017 Report Posted November 6, 2017 Beautiful job and I am sure like in the movie about building it and they will come - I am sure if you shared the pattern many would love it and do it. I would probably get it, and hope to do it one day but as trackman noted - lettering is one of the hardest things (at least in my opinion) to cut properly. Having just ventured there, not sure when I would feel confident enough to give this one a try. Although I know several people who would love it. I think its great. Thanks for sharing.
