Nicely done Duke, did you have any issues with the Ask wood burning? I would use much more ash then I do, but I don't like how easy it splits and cracks. I have four pieces of clear ash that is sixteen feet long, and it's six inches wide. It is set aside, in case I ever decide to built more cedar strip canoes.

I have had no issues with splits or cracking, but will burn easily if you go too fast
