Scroll saw tilt

So I have officially admitted defeat that my Ryobi 16" scroll saw is very limited. I did however managed to get a foot pedal at my local Woodcraft and it has been a game changer.

My issue right now is saw height and angle. I have learned that there is no stand to attach to it (to my knowledge). I've seen where some people have their saws tilted towards them that way it's ergonomic and way easier on the back and neck after scrolling for hours.

Does anyone have any recommendations on tilting? I can on think of a 4x4 angled cut then bolted to the saw, then the saw bolted at the front to keep it still.

If the saw is on a stand then just put a 2X4 under the back legs. Maybe you need a couple. I found that when a saw is tilted like that all the saw dust lands in your lap. Never found a need to tilt the saw. A magnifier light is a plus these days though. I have a very bad back but when sawing I just saw a bit and then get up and walk around and just sit straight up and I can saw for long periods of time. You can always raise the saw but you need to make sure everything is bolted down well. That is what takes the vibration out of those type saws. Good stable foundation.

I built a stand for my Dewalt out of 2x's and 4x's. For the top, I used a large piece of glued up wood that I found at HD. I hinged it at the front edge so that I can lift it at the back and put whatever height of block under it to achieve the tilt angle that I want.

I had my Dewalt tilted at first seemed to be the thing to do for many years and it worked well for me. Then I got a EX 21 and left it flat and liked that better to flattened out the Dewalt also and sit with foot pedal on both and have close together and use them at the same time doing twice the work in half the time. OK OK I do have the saws down flat the rest was just feelings of grandeur. I think it is mainly what you are comfortable with.

my complaint is the saw table angle,it will not stay plumb.I'm thinking of turn buckles  hooked to the table so it can't move and it's fully adjustable.I hate cut pieces not falling out.
