This is a Steve Good pattern.

I dark stained one for the backer.

The hardest part was drilling pilot  holes in the middle of the pattern. I had to use a Dremmel plunger.

HINT: If you have to cut an oversized pattern that does not fit on your saw table try this.

I had to put my blade in backwards and do some cutting that way. Itg works.

Well you did a fine job on it.  I have never tried to cut with the blade backwards, that would seem to be a little tricky.  I just switch to spiral blades for the big pieces.

That turned out great John.the dark stain gives it a real west look.

Thanks for the tip.I make a lot of signs that are 18  inches long and my saw is a 16.

That tip may take away some tight cuts. .thank you kindly.

John, that looks good. The dark backer brings it all out. That's a good tip, putting the blade in backwards. I have a 21 inch excal, so I haven't had that problem yet.
