Then I found the slat of walnut with the live edge. Soon came the turned tree and holder for a votive candle. The house is not attached, yet, because hubby compared it to an outhouse. Hm... Perhaps if the house were bigger then the tree, or the tree was smaller then the house then the "outhouse" idea your husband put into your head would not be there.
