Scrappile
Flying Dutchman has been my favorite brand of scroll saw blades for several years. A few months ago, people on forums started talking the Pegas "Modified Geometry" blades (I don't know what "modified Geometry" means, but there are a lot of things I don't know, I guess). I bought a sample pack of them to try, and found them too aggressive for the type of scrolling I like to do. Still I kept hearing about Pegas blades, so I ordered so of their other blades, "non- Modified Geometry" I guess. Got to say they started winning me over slow but sure. I have learned I use a larger size designation blade with Pegas than I did with FD, i.e., were I used a #2/0 FD, I prefer a #1 Pegas. I am pretty much sold on the Pegas blades now. I even like the "MG" one in size #3 and larger for thicker wood. I can't speak for the spirals yet. I love the FD 3/0 New Spiral, but I am going to try some of the Pegas ones to see if they have one I like as well. Hard for an old dog to be converted, but I do like their blades and I like the service from D&D Woodcrafts. I won't say it is better than I received from Mike's Workshop, but it is as good. Dave Monk
I agrees D&D woods has outstanding service. The MG blades are my go to blades most of the time. I almost always stack cut so they work perfect. OCtoolguy
kmmcrafts
I like all the types of blades I’ve used from the Pegas brand ( haven’t tried the spirals yet, almost ordered some my last order) For me it depends on the saw I’m using as to the size blade I use. On my DeWalt I typically use a 3 MG Pegas where I’d normally use a 5 in a FD UR. But on the Hawks I use the 5 MG Pegas. OCtoolguy

Scrolling Steve
I still use a lot of FDUR #3 and #5 ...My go to spiral blade is still FD new spiral 2/0 and 3/0........The Pegas #3 MG has worked it's way into use for stack cutting and most hardwoods. I think we all figure out what works after a while.....Just my 2 cents worth....Steve.
kmmcrafts
It'd be real nice if there was a sample pack of each size and brand of blade.. then one could just play and decide what blade they like best for their machine and their style of cutting.. Honestly there probably isn't a style and size blade I probably haven't tried.. on my DeWalt.. sort of the Pegas spirals... then I got used to my "go to blade" then I got a Hawk.. totally different game player for what blade is my go to blade.. Now I just got the Excalibur set up.. I'm sure it's going to be another new learning curve.. So with that said.. all those post about.. "What Blade" just my opinion here.. but there are as many answers to that question as there are to what saw to get, what car to buy, what dishwasher to get etc etc etc... and at the end of the day.. my best suggestion to them is to get sample packs of each blade and brand.. cut some projects and find what blade works best for your comfort level.. Sparkey
The only Pegas blades I have tried are their spiral blades. They kept breaking. The FD new 3/0 spirals work great for me and last longer. kmmcrafts
