my second name cut

Cut this one today from 1¼" square Maple. Still some errors but getting better I think.

You should put the date on your first pieces and compare your work in a year. You will be surprised at how much you will improve.

Looking good Don, your really catching on to theses things. May |I make a small suggestion though? If you made them a bit longer, you could round the ends over. And with yours being made so short, someone will try to push in on the end  and cause the wood to break away. That's why I started rounding the ends over, I had one that had got broken when done like yours are. But not since  I started rounding the ends over, since then none have been broken. Don, when I say rounding the ends over, I mean that I cut the ends in the shape of a semi-circle.
