Not able to open Children's patterns. Anyone else having trouble when trying to open it?

I couldn't see anything as well until i clicked on the view button on the right hand side. Once i clicked on the button i circled in the pick below i could see the patterns.

I wonder why the Change?

Not sure, why or when, the change, but, I really like having the optional ways to view the patterns.  There are also more sort options than I remember being there before.
