Skull with Smoking Cigarette a van Gogh painting from 1885

I only temperately glued the skull to backer thus is why it slipped, the original was black background skull painted brownish color, didn't like that so left this one grey primer.

Came out great. I was wondering how hard that would be to cut.

The cutting was quite easy really it was held in place by two pieces, so was a bit flimsy in that respct.

But nothing that a bit a tape couldn't fix.

Thanks for the pattern I love van Gogh's work.

Boy, that turned out great! I like the applique version. You know what would look cool is if you painted it black and drybrushed white on top. Don't know if you ever drybrushed or not, but I find it does really well on dark motifs such as this. Nicely done!
