meflick
What beautiful and stunning pieces of art you have hand crafted for your family to remember your's and their's loved one. The angels and their cutting alone are stunning. The frames and your extra work are equally stunning and it shows. Great job. Thanks for showing them to us. tomsteve

Scrappile
That is some professional looking work!.. I love the frames and have always liked when matting is put around the picture. I want to learn how to do that. tomsteve

I want to learn how to do that. thanks, scrappile. ya know, its really not that difficult to do a mat. main thing i remembered on this one was having the mat before building the frame. theres places online that sell custom size mats, too, and might even be a local framing shop that can do it,too. plus quite a few good videos on youtube to use as guides. one extra thing i did on these i hadnt done before is add a dust cover on the back. found out through youtube its real easy. note- i didnt make the mat on these. i would have gotten glue and fingerprints all over them! rdatelle
Those came out great. Beautiful veining on the angels. What size drill bit did you use for the holes. tomsteve
tomsteve
thanks all for the kind compliments. ralph, i used #3 spiral blades and #56 drill bit. i drill the holes in areas where i can feather the edges of the vein to make the hole disappear. rdatelle
I don't think I have a # 56 drill bit. I'll have look into that. I still haven't tried using the spira blades. I guess sooner or later I will have to.
