For those who are interested.

With one event remaining, tomorrow, if it doesn't end up as a rain-out... here are my stats for 2017...

970 - Total puzzles sold at 27 events from April 1 thru November 30.

153 - Sold at best event (Cary Laze Daze)

11 - Sold at worst event (Dog show)

36 - Average sold per event

162 - Unique/Different breeds/animals sold

Top 15 Sellers:

49 - Dachshunds

34 - Carolina Beach Sea Turtles

33 - Rescue dogs

28 - Pelicans

20 - Unicorns (only sold them the second half of the year)

16 - Swimming Mermaid

15 - Elephants

15 - Kure Beach Dolphins

13 - Sharks

12 - Pit Bulls

11 - Labradors

10 - Beagles

10 - Pugs

10 - Sitting Mermaids

10 - Huskys

Total of top 15 = 286 which equates to 29% of total overall sales and since I live at the beach, the sea critters are obviously quite popular.

Total "kids puzzles" = 250 which equates to 25% of total overall sales

That means the remaining 46% were spread out among 151 other animals.  I display approximate 130 different dog breeds and animals at each event.

I really hope I can do my event tomorrow... I'd hate to miss out on a great show.

Iggy

That is some very interesting stats you show.  Big difference in your best selling dog to the next name breed dog.  You are definitely in a sweet location.

Yep, the Dachshund people are downright CRAZY!  LOL  I never expected that breed to be #1 seller, let alone out sell every other breed by 4 times.

Wow,  that is amazing that you broke it all down like that, did you right a program for it, or just notes like I do for things, but then I loose my notes, RJ

I am the king of spreadsheets... or as my wife says... very neurotic.  I track everything in my life.  Excel is the greatest software ever written.  LOL

Yes Iggy and if you use MS Access as well you can make your spreadsheets look even better and add pictures to the names. :santa: Roly

That is pretty impressive.. Hope you do great at your next event.. then if you're anything like me you'll take a few days off and get bored... and then back to work.. LOL Enjoy your last show and your break afterwards.. you're gonna need it.. at least a couple days.. LOL

I should keep track of how many items I sell.. I could do it the hard way and look up each order on etsy and the other couple web sites I sell at.. unfortunately they don't keep track of individual items... while my orders counter only shows me to have had about 300 orders.. a very big portion of those orders was multipal  quantities.. for instance today I only had 12 orders.. but one of the orders was for 30 ornaments and another one was for 15 ornaments 4 clocks in another one etc etc etc... in all just today I've done $1472.81 in sales.. days not over yet.. LOL I've been averaging $200 a day for about 3 weeks now.. with the exception of today and a couple of other similar days... getting tired and burned out.. just about ready to put all my stores in vacation mode..

Very nice to be able to see what is working and what might not be Scott.  Gives you an idea of where to keep higher levels of inventory.  Good luck today - not sure if you are getting rain or the snow that is hitting in the Carolinas as well as many other Southern places!   It has missed us but for some minimal flurries and stuff yesterday and last night but is pretty cold here in East TN.  Getting many into the Christmas spirit I suppose. :santa:

Great stats Scott, but how did you find time to do that when you are always cutting and selling and working and ????????????.  Man do you ever sleep?   ;)

Ha! I insist on getting 7 1/2 hours of sleep every night... Head up to bed at 10pm, watch a TV show off the DVR for 45 minutes, lights out, wake up at 6:15...my boring daily routine.  :-)

That does not surprise me.  Are you sure you don't have a touch of OCD along with a brain that goes a million miles an hour.  ;) :lol::lol:  That's OK Terry is always telling me that I have OCD.
