MrsN
I want to make a nativity project for christmas this year, but I am undecided as to which one. What is your favorite nativity project that you have made?
Scrappile
I am currently cutting the one in the latest issue of "Scrollsaw Woodworking & Crafts", called "O Holt Night", by Sue Mey. It seens to be very popular this year. I have see it posted on several forums. It will be my first Nativity. In the future I want to do more, some more detailed. Here is the nice one Denny did:
Doug
Here are two I like - I think they are both Steve Good patterns. I especially like Peace. Went back and checked, the one on the left is Steve Good ( http://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/index.php) and the one on the right is Birchbark - one of our own (http://www.scrollsawvillage.com/gallery/image/6432-peace-nativity/) Edited December 8, 2017 by Doug add links Scrolling Steve, meflick and Lucky2
WayneMahler
Here is the one I have been cutting for this season. Has gone over at shows very well. I don't have a photo of one cut but this was the one included with the pattern from Sue Mey. It uses 1/8 bb (lettering on arch), 1/4bb (uprights and arch), 3/4 pine (figures) and 1/2 pine (base ). Lots of fun to cut too meflick and Lucky2
Gonzo
I have enjoyed making the one Scrappile talks about, and also the two that Doug referenced. All three were a lot of fun to make.
orangeman
My all time favorite: Been looking for another one that I like but haven't found it yet. This was published in SCWC mag many years ago. bb Lucky2, meflick and Scrappile

barb.j.enders
I did a bunch of the mini nativity sets from Steve Good - they were fun to cut and they amazed the recipients because of the size. meflick
Lucky2
MrsN, Katie, there's a nativity scene arch project, that is a Volker Arnold pattern. Right now I can't find a picture of it, but I've cut three or four of them so far, and they're beautiful. People are always are amazed with how good they look, there's five layers to the pattern.
