Scrappile Posted December 9, 2017 Report Posted December 9, 2017 (edited) This is my attempt at the O Holly Night Nativity that is in the latest issue of SSW magazine. It is a Sue Mey pattern. I did change the placement of the star. The star is removable so it can be easily packed away after Christmas. Already starting on my NY Resolutions This helps cover the one of trying different types of scrolling other than concentrating on detailed fret pictures. Please feel free to critic. Dan Posted December 9, 2017 Report Posted December 9, 2017 (edited) Nice! The only thing I would change is... nothing. It perfect as is. Edited December 9, 2017 by Dan Scrappile 1 Quote
Lucky2 Posted December 9, 2017 Report Posted December 9, 2017 Paul, it's a very cute Nativity scene, I like how it looks made out of different types of wood. Len Scrappile 1 Quote
meflick Posted December 10, 2017 Report Posted December 10, 2017 I don't see anything to critique. Looks good from this end to me. I have this one on the ever growing pile of things to try and cut. However, if I recall correctly, when I went to copy it from the magazine on my home copier it was just a little to big to copy it. Thanks for sharing your version. Scrappile 1 Quote
wombatie Posted December 10, 2017 Report Posted December 10, 2017 You did an excellent job Paul and I love the fact that the star is detachable for easy storage. Marg Scrappile 1 Quote

It was easy to place it above the stable. I epoxied a wire into the bottom of the star and the wire goes into a hole drilled in to of the peak of the stable. blights69 1 Quote
