These are very easy and fun to make. I used 1/8" BB ply stack cut 4 at a time. They slide together and can be stored flat. I used General Finishes green dye and no clear over it. 

One thing about water based dyes is to clean around the rim very thoroughly before storing. I had a dickens of a time getting the lid off because of the rust. I have transfered the remaining finish to a Mason jar.

Nice Dan.  Those came out great.. Thanks for sharing them for us.  They make plastic lids for the mason jars now will go a long way in curing that rust problem
