Are you putting anything between them?? Do you use a backerboard when cutting and if so what?? What blade are you using and at what speed?? Are you dealing with fuzzies on one or all records?? Thanks for your kind comment John I have no problem answering your questions I tape the first vinyl with blue painters tape I then put another 2 records on the back of this one and then blue painters tape around the edge of all 3 this holds them fine for me i do not use anything between or a backer board when cutting just the stack of 3 albums taped together . With regards to blade I use a spiral that is the only one I have found to work doing it my way but if sandwiched between 2 boards it may be possible to use a normal blade but my way it is spiral only I am afraid and I tend to use #4 for most of my cuts, now onto the the fuzzies and speed I cut at full speed only I have tried it at lower speeds the cut line just melts back in for me and creates a lot of solid fuzzies that take ages to clean up I now cut the same way all the time and that is as follows : Full speed on the saw and as fast as I can get away with on the saw feeding it this keeps the melt back to a minimum before I cut the next part I use an old toothbrush to brush all the fuzzies out so they cannot stick back to the vinyl this is a lot easier to do after each cut then at the end. That is about it nothing special at all I like to keep it as simple as possible I do know from others the main thing they have trouble with is the fuzzies and the cut line melting back in I do get this now and then but only when it is a real tricky part and I am cutting real slow that is why I cut as fast as I can as much as I can. Hope this helps you. If my explanation is confusing I can take some pictures next time to show how I do mine I know I confuse myself sometimes so confusing others will probably be easy for me oh nearly forgot I also give a light spray of lacquer to the label to try and stop the tape pulling parts of the label off this seems to work most of the time as long as you peel the tape away from the label area slowly this is not an issue if a clock face is going to cover the label but if not and you are spraying the record you will see the tear parts of the label and it is hard to sand flat and to not see it so a quick spray is best for me.
