I'm serious! I have trouble looking at the video then switching back to the program. Need two computers and for some reason it wont work on my tablet. So I ordered an Inkscape manual. Used from Amazon, $14 plus $3 shipping. Plan to learn if it kills me.

Books are my weak spot. I buy books for everything. I also watch a ton of youtube videos. Right now, I'm watching a series on how to make my own 3D printer.

Wow! Thanks so much for that Jerry. Finally something that I can have alongside me while I'm learning this software. I am going to print out a couple of the views that they offer for all the screen/tool options. That's where I have always had my downfall. I can't remember what tool does what. This is just great. Thanks again.

HI Ray,

Can you PLEASE share how you are going to print the information that you want.  I am sooo computer illiterate that it hurts, I'm using a Mac with Safari and I am not able to get this to print for me.  I then went to see about purchasing the book and it seems that the book is no longer available.  Thanks for your help.

I am still in the dark ages & using Windows 7.  On the very upper right of the screen, second row down is a GEAR shape.  R. click it & I get a drop down menu.  First option is PRINT.  When you get to print, carefully check which pages you want to print.  Otherwise you could run out of ink & paper !!  Another option would be Google "how do I print with a Mac".  Also try typing this into You Tube.

Hope this helps Friend.   jerry

Go to this website and there is an option for an ebook that is "watermarked" for a reasonable price. You can download it once you've paid.

Thank you Ray & Jerry for the quick replys.  I noticed that the author is working on a new version, but has no release date.

Jerry, it maybe because I am using a mac, but I don't get anything that resembles a gear shape and if I did it would probably print for the next week.

Ray, I am a PRIME member, so I will be purchasing the book on Amazon.  Thank you both again. :D

Well, you can't beat that. Amazon is fantastic. I got a book yesterday and my wife got one today. Good luck with your learning curve. I'm not a Mac guy so I can't help you at all with that but if I can ever be of help on other stuff let me know.

This is getting about as far off subject as possible.  Ray, you are such a kind, helpful guy when someone needs/wants something.  Thought I would let you know that our car needs washing.  :D

I would be happy to wash your car Jerry. The next time I'm in Iowa. For sure. Do you live anywhere near West Liberty? That's where my Dad was born. I might try to visit that place sometime before I die.

I am the opposite of you lol I take ages to learn via book but show me it once and I can pick it up pretty fast strange how people learn in different ways good luck with your book and I look forward to seeing your first pattern you do and then seeing it cut :) Having said that I did not know they done a book on inkscape so may get one myself and swat on that too see if it helps
