Freedom, birds flying from barbed wire fence

This is Neptune's pattern, the moment I saw it I knew I would cut it. It's simple, thought provoking and elegant at the same time, at least I think so. This is cut from old flooring, frame in cherry. It's more challenging to cut thank it looks.

Great piece. As a kid I remember shooting blackbirds off fence and telephone wires with an old .22. I had to collect pop and beer bottles to buy bullets.

Every damned time I had to fix barb wire fencing; I was the one that got cut! I think I still have scars to prove it too.
