Dan Posted January 16, 2018 Report Posted January 16, 2018 Great find Alex. That is pretty cool but I don't think I'll be making one. Quote
Scrappile Posted January 16, 2018 Report Posted January 16, 2018 (edited) That could replace the "fidget spinner". Clever. What secret took place when the video went blank for a little while? I save it, looks fun to try to make. Thanks. Edited January 16, 2018 by Scrappile Quote

rdatelle Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 (edited) Great job on that. Looks a little tedious. I might give it a try. Can this be stacked cut or do you have to do one at a time. Thanks for the pattern. Edited January 31, 2018 by rdatelle Quote
Chunkthekid Posted January 31, 2018 Report Posted January 31, 2018 Definitely going to try this one. Thank Alex Quote

rdatelle Posted February 2, 2018 Report Posted February 2, 2018 (edited) Well Alex, I tried making this today with no luck. I used 1/8 inch stock and stacked cut 3 at a time with no problem. I had enough to make 3 of them (18 gears). The problem I had was when I tried to cut the space out on the bottom, the first cut went through fine but when I made the second cut, everyone of them snapped off .The plans call for 4mm which is 1/8 inch by the chart I have. What am I doing wrong. I made them the size of the pattern. Edited February 2, 2018 by rdatelle Quote

rdatelle Posted February 2, 2018 Report Posted February 2, 2018 Thanks Alex. I'll check that out. Not sure I had the fiber going that way. I'll try again. Quote
