Could anyone help me get ahold of Gayle Mortensen. I used to cut a lot of her patterns a couple of yrs. ago. I'm trying to get a pattern of Zahra Baker, the little girl that got murdered in Hickory NC. I want to do this for police dept in Hickory. I have got a couple of patterns but having problems. I'm sure she could help, she's a great pattern maker.

E-Mailed Gayle her reply was as

"We closed the door to the Cafe a couple of years ago - I don't have enough time to be there all the time to watch for spammers etc. With Connie on sabbatical - it is keeping me busy! I don't believe in being a member of anything, unless I can contribute in some way - and for that reason I don't belong to other sites. I try to answer any Emails - and if someone is interested in being a member of the Cafe, I have set up accounts for them, but they have to email me with the info - screen name etc. I don't have the time to leave the door open and try to weed through the 'undesirables' that always seem to slip past"

Also "If you know someone who is wanting to join us - feel free to give them my Email and have them mark it ' the Scroller's Cafe - so it doesn't get bumped to the junk folder."

I'm not putting her e-mail on the site if there are genuine people wanting to join I will sea what I can do No Promises

And if there a rush No Chance.

The Scrollers Cafe, what had happened at the scrollers cafe is that we had to get a new service provider a while back. And if you were an active member "visiting and commenting" on what was being offered and particapaiting in the forums you were in automatically and if you weren't particapaiting and didn't visit very often then you would have missed out on the notices that warned us of the switch and also told us what we had to do to get back on and particiapate in the forums. It wasn't a big deal but you had to be checking out the site about every three days or so just to keep up to the news and announcements. It's a great site and they run a tight ship and keep everytrhing running smoothly. Gayle is a sweetheart that would do anything that she could to help you out, and her patterns, well lets just say that they leave nothing to be desired and they are as close to being perfect as you'll ever get.
