Very nice, one question, where do you get the polymer at? I find myself wanting to experiment with the stuff.

Chris

I got the clay at Hobby Lobby. This is the first time I used it and like using it.

Nicely done Dan, but it needs a groove in it or a piece of wood across the front to keep the pad in place.

Len

If the angle is right it doesn't require the groove or wood.  I have made a few, none have any front support.  Use mine all the time.

Like Barb said, the angle keeps it from sliding when used on the table. If she uses it on her lap then there may be a problem. I pushed on the top front of the Kindle to try to get it to slip off and it stays in place. I found out this morning that there's a button on the bottom. I'll put a shallow recess across it that will be deep enough to stay off the button.

I do hope the W does not stand for Wife.   because if it does it will NOT be a happy life.    Looks great Dan, well done.

Well... her name is Wendy and found out yesterday she was named after the girl from Peter Pan. Took me 31 years to learn that bit. :o

Yes, I did use the oven method. After sanding I was surprised at how well it fit and felt. Seems to hold well too. Um, so far.
