welcome to the village.

please excuse me if i don't run to get my camera, my my scroll work is much like my furniture work, it looks better the farther away you stand

we all have to start somewhere. not everyone creates a masterpiece when they first start scrolling. I know my first cuttings were nothing to brag about.

Do run and get your camera. Anyone who's not supportive, we'll give them five licks out behind the woodshed, and yes, some of us have woodsheds.

I've been here a while now and think I can say this. By posting here at the village, I have actually seen people's skills improve from the feedback, including mine. We were all newbies to woodworking at some time. None of us were born with hammers in our hands.

GMRNeck.i laughed so hard at your commontary. It really struck my funny bones, thanks i needed that. You were suggestive, supportive, authoritive and encourageing all in one breath! My folks wore out several boards of education on me.Problem with that was my dad was creative and would come up with a better mouse trap every time. :curse: The one that got my attention best had holes drilled in it 1/2" size. That baby hurt! And was the only one he made where you definetly could not sit down for a while. And it can be scrolled too.lol
