an update on my brides' & Mine out  service. Mary Ann had the nuclear liquid injected in her on friday. And a CT scan with it of her kidneys. We got word yesterday that test was ok, but we'll know more this coming monday.

As far as me, well, we seen my Cardiologist last Monday, & after he was done throwin' his two year old fit over paper work bcause he didn't have any from the last time I was in the hospital here at home. In the meantime, he ordered an ultra sound on both my legs from the groin to my heels on both legs. We finally got the report back yesterday, & he says the veins & arteries are all ok in my legs, but I've still got a clot below the right knee, in the lower part of my leg. When we were there to see him, he mentioned if there was a clot there, he would have to surgically remove it. When, we don't know yet. He also mentioned doing a heart cath, too. We have another appointment in a month, so we'll see what happens then.

Thank you again for all your support & prayers!!! I sincerely appreciate all of you, more than I can say!!!!:):) God Bless!

Mr. Ray, sometimes its the ones you haven't met that bring a feller the most strength. I appreciate your kind words, brother, sincerely.

I learned a long time ago when I was still truckin' that the folks I talked to on the phone, outside of braindead dispatchers & loud mouth brokers, were caring, God fearin' folks who just wanted the best for mankind. You remind me of one of those folks, Mr. Ray. Just a good ol' boy like me that wants the best for his friends. No, we've never met, but you're still my friend. That's the strongest point of this site is the friendship & brotherhood, as I've said before. I sincerely wish we could meet all of you face to face.  Scrappile, your kind words sincerely mean alot, too.

I don't want anybody to think, by any means, I've put this post on here to sound like I'm cryin' the blues. Because that's not it all. I'm just lettin' my friends know what has happened to us lately. My sincere apologies if anyone takes it that way.

We sincerely appreciate all the prayers & support from everyone of you! I mean it from the heart! How we'll ever repay all of you, we have no clue, but we've never been shown such friendship & support! God bless!

Brad, I'm sorry to be reading about, how sick and under the weather you and now your bride is. It's tough enough when one person in the household is down, but when both are under the weather it's just to much. I'm happy that you have some assistance come in to help out, that has to help with worrying about each other. With the help you guys are getting, your medical issues will be well taken care of. Prayers will be sent your way, for both of you. And hang out here all you want, it's nice having you around and commenting on people's work. Just because you can't use your saw right now, doesn't mean you have to stop commenting. I value your opinion, and I appreciate you posting what you think. So please take care of yourself, but please post when you can also, it lets us know that you're still kicking. All my best to you and your wife, I hope you both start to fell better right away. Take the time to heal properly, don't rush things and do as the doc says. Take care!!

Brad, I just finished reading what you last posted, nobody would ever think you were just looking for attention or pity. We all appreciate knowing how each other is doing, and if someone is in a pinch we do what we can to help the member out. For you to come on here to let us know of your issues and to ask for prayers, is something that we or at least I am glad to know and do for you. I only wish there was more I could do then pray for you, hopefully, the prayers we all will sending your way will be all that's needed. There's strength in numbers, and there's a fair number of us that will be praying for you both. Be well, and may God bless.

What Len just said goes for me too. I also hope that we might meet up someday.

thank you so much for the kindness in your words, Len. Your prayers are sincerely appreciated! More than you know, my friend! You too, Ray. I too, hope we meet up some time.

I read all these supportive posts, & the prayers, it brings tears to my eyes, gentlemen. We've never had the support & friendship we've gotten from all of you! I told my bride earlier today if there was a site that has a stronger brotherhood & friendship, I've never been on it! And just the way everyone here pulls together when one of us is need is overwhelming! We sincerely appreciate every single one of you & your prayers, & kind words! Our own community we live in doesn't pull together for folks in need like you folks do here! Thank you again, & just so you all know, my bride reads all your posts, too. And she says thank you all for the support, & she can't believe the support & prayers. prayers in numbers work! God Bless! Brad & Mary Ann.

It's nice to be able to "feel" the love isn't it? I get the same feeling here on this forum. I have belonged to many forums that had to do with all my varied interests over the years but there were always a handful of folks who seemed to just hang out to make trouble. Not so here. My hat is off to Travis for overseeing this site and keeping it under control. We are truly a "family" here and I know that if I was in need of help, there might just be folks who are close enough to me that they would help me out. Luckily at this point, I don't need anything other than the help and advice that I have found here so far.

Yes it is, Mr. Ray! Travis has done an excellent job of weedin' the trouble makers & instigators out of the site. I use a couple other sites, but not like this one. I've made alot of friends here, & learned alot here.

As we get older though, things happen in our lives when we need our friends around us, prayer from our friends, & support. Here I've found all of that just by the posts I make, & the responses I get in return from those posts. Those posts make me feel the "family feeling" & the love & care for each other. We sincerely appreciate everyone of your prayers, kind words, & support. We feel like we're getting several big hugs when we read all your posts. It's an awesome feeling!! Also, I appreciate the welcome of my posts & updates of our health situation. My Sawbones still has me considered "home bound." I'm stuck in my chair w/my leg elevated unless I get up to do exercises, or go to the table or bathroom.  Mary Ann is gettin' more like her self. she still has a gall bladder test to go through, but I'll keep you updated on things. I've 'bout run out my length of chatter time for now. I just can't tell you all how much we sincerely your thoughts & prayers. God Bless. Brad & Mary Ann.

hello friends. I have some news to pass on to you. Mary Ann recently had some tests done on her kidneys. Those come back ok. Last tuesday, she had a nuclear test & CT scan done on her gallbladder. She seen the specialist shortly there after, and he told her he couldn't see any problems. He thought her issues were caused from nerves. So, our family dr has released her from his care for her to go back to work a couple days a week at the grocery store!:) She's happy about that! She hasn't left my side since I had my heart attacks.

As far as Me, all we know is there is a clot in my right leg, below the knee. How big, or where its at is still a mystery. I've still got home health nurses comin' in, as I'm still stuck in my chair. They are allowin' me to get up & walk some, go to the bathroom by myself, to the table, things like that, but for the most part, I'm still readin' what all of you are up to, followin' drs orders, & prayin' for better health.

Thank you again for all your prayers & thoughts. We sincerely appreciate everyone of you! keep them comin'! better days are gettin' closer, I hope. God Bless!

Thank you Rocky & Woodmaster! I sincerely appreciate your kind words! You're right, woodmaster! After goin' on nine weeks couped up in hospitals & here in my chair, I'm past ready to get back in the shop! I get on here 2 or 3 times a day to see what everybody is up to, & post where I can help.
I sincerely appreciate your thoughts & prayers! Brad & Mary Ann.

Brad, I am glad to hear that your lovely bride is doing better and they are allowing her to get. Ack to work some. That alone will be a blessing to her I am sure. I am sure she will still worry about you while she is gone however. Glad to hear you are following Dr’s orders and doing your best as a clot in your leg is nothing to fool with for sure. My continued prayers for both of you and I pray that you will be doing better soon and can get to your saw.

Hello friends! I have another update on our "out of service" compliance. My Bride says to let you all know your thoughts & prayers are sincerely appreciated. She is doin' well! Happy to be back to work & able see all her friends that come & go at the grocery store. The joy of livin' in a small town.

Last friday, we spoke with my Cardiologist on the phone, finally. He told us the clot in my leg is all but gone. He is no longer worried about it. That was good news! And he also told me I could go back to the shop a few days a week! That was even better news, until my nurses that come in got wind of it. Between the three of them, & my Bride, they didn't think my legs were strong enough to stand going to the shop yet. So, I'm still stuck in my chair, doin' their exercises for now. That's probably best, as long as I've been down, & as much pain as I'm experiencing in my legs.

My family dr is still adjusting my blood thinners. They tell me it takes awhile to get the numbers where they are supposed to be. As much blood thinner as I've had thru me, you'd think my blood would be nearly water, but it ain't. So, we'll keep messin' with that, I guess

Again, thank you for keeping us in your prayers. They are doing their job! We sincerely appreciate them all! Enjoy the day, & God Bless. Brad & Mary Ann.

Well it's great to hear of you're improvements and that the bride is doing good as well,

Will be sending many more prayers your way for a quick strengthening so you can get back out to make some sawdust, LOL.. Not sure about you.. but I hate having to just sit around.. Last year I tore my calf muscle almost clean in half.. was out of service for quite some time.. The leg still bothers me especially in this cold weather..

Anyhow, again, glad to hear things are improving for you.. take it easy and don't over do it.. as that will set you back again..

Glad to read things are getting better and your spirits are up and keep following the doctors orders. I know when I had my episode with lung blood clots I was not allowed out of bed for a week while they had me on huge amounts of blood thinners. I could not breathe even after taking a couple steps. That was how I knew I was in trouble. The blood clot in my leg broke off and traveled to lungs. On baby asprin regimeine now and still have to be so careful when cutting yourself because you bleed out so easily.

Take care and keep us up to date. The scrolling family is here for you and send prayers your way.

Glad to hear some good news.  You need to get you a chair to sit in out in the shop - maybe then the ladies will let you spend some time out there.  Glad to hear your bride is doing much better and enjoying her time back at work.   Continued prayers for you and that you can get some time out in your shop soon.

Brad, I can't imagine being bed/chair ridden so I can only say, I hope that you can get back up and at it again soon. It takes a while to regain strength but if you have good care nurses and they are making you exercise, it won't be long. And warmer weather is just around the corner so you'll be ready. Prayers and good positive vibes for you and your Bride. Stay strong.

Ray
