Shelf Liner dispenser

I made a dispenser to help with using shelf liner rolls. It works great. The plans are from Steve Good I added a hole to hold an exacto knife.

I saw Steve's post on this, and made one for myself.  I agree it works well.  I made mine smaller, though.  Makes it easier to store when not being used.  I also used a 1/8" x 3/4" aluminum bar for the cutter.  Hopefully it will last longer than the wood bar.

I wonder, would a hacksaw blade be any good to use as a cutter? Would one be  longer then the shelf liner your using, you would need to know the width of the liner? I would use one of them as a cutter, if I could get one long enough. The blades already have a hole drilled in them, that could be used to attach them to the wood frame with. A new blade would last forever, I don't think you'd ever have to change it.
