bowers25
I found a 26" Hawk G4 for sale, super clean. What do you think would be an acceptable price? OCtoolguy
rjweb
Don’t have any idea, but Roft has that saw and should be able to tell what to look for and what is a good price, RJ OCtoolguy
JTTHECLOCKMAN
How old?? You say good condition but is all working well. If so $500 is a great price and no more than $600 SCROLLSAW703 and OCtoolguy
Scrappile
In my area of the U.S. last year I saw two G-4's for sale on Craigslist. Both looked to be in like new condition. I almost traded a rifle for one, but I backed out. They wanted $750 for it. I do not know if it sold for that, but it was listed for a couple months. The second one, they were asking $950. It is no longer listed don't know if it sold either. I really thought $950 was real high, actually I thought $750 was a little high. I have been to by a Hawk expert, that the G-4 is one of the best Hawk models of the older ones. OCtoolguy
SCROLLSAW703
You're right, scrapple. The G4's are the best of the older saws. And I'm a gun enthusiast myself, but I'd of either not liked the rifle, or wanted to get rid of the saw at any cost to make that trade. Just sayin. $950? Geez? Was he behind on house payments? That is, in my personal opinion, grossly over priced for a G4. $500 tops & it would need to be in top shape before I gave that.

I was just looking at Craigslist in the Phoenix area and there is a Hegner on there that is just like mine. It has the foot switch and the light. Seller is asking $1175. I wanted to email him and ask about his sanity but I thought better of it. He will find out soon enough. Unless he finds somebody with more money than brains. GrampaJim
There is someone trying to sell a Hawk 220-VS for $600 on Chicago's CL. It has been listed for a long, long time. OCtoolguy
