If I was going to change one thing about this it would be to put a black backer board behind the bottom letters because I think it would make them stand out better. Otherwise it is perfect. Your cutting is very well done. I would not necessarially use a black backer, what is the teams other color? I would try a few different colors, you may find one that looks better then the others.
