Font for puzzles?

Is there a particular font used when making a puzzle?

It appears, the puzzles all seem to use the same or similar font.

Here is an example of what I'm asking:

In the case of Harvey Byler's patterns, they are "Amish font"... he hand draws every one of his animals and lettering.  He's Amish, so no computers allowed.

I've always drawn my own when creating these puzzles. It's much easier than trying to manipulate a font. Give it a try.

I suspect most of these animal type puzzles are in fact all hand drawn.
