Xmas Trees

Pulled some scraps out of the box and tried a xmas decoration. I used Travis's xmas tree pattern from the library, whipped up a base on Inkscape and raided my wife's craft supplies. I thought they would make cool place settings for the kids at xmas dinner.

They measure 4"H X 4"L X 2"W. You could make the tree a little bigger and scroll in the kids names and just paint in the decorations.

That sould k eek a smile on the little darlings face awhile ,very nice modification ART.Your aways thinking.It's a terrible job but somebodys got to do my thinking for me ,lol i like the idea!!

Very clever way of modding existing patterns. This is what makes scrolling exciting! You can easily adapt patterns to meet your own needs. Great job!

Thanks all...Now my wife wants a bigger tree so she can put in some xmas lights Gotta start hiding these things so she doesn't get any more wild ideas

Nice job Vector. I love them.

I don't know about a kids' Christmas table - I think they'd look great on any Christmas table.

I also suspect your wife wants you to make a bigger tree so she can use her own craft stuff lol

Yep...I finished my "Honey Do" list. Finished the big tree today. Based on Travis's pattern but a bit larger. Made from 3/4" pine. Stands 11" tall with a 8.5" long oval base.
