Welcome to the Village from East TN in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains.  I found the village almost two years ago now and couldn't agree more, lots of friendly folks will great information and knowledge that they are more than willing to share and help newbies with.  I have done so much more with my scroll saw then I anticipated when I first picked it up back then.  I look forward to your participation and seeing some of your work.

Welcome, Lew,

Glad you found the forum. Find some of the items that appeal to you and make some saw-dust.
we love to see new projects and, as you already know, we are a friendly, supportive group.
Keep some projects you make or at least save some good photos so you can look back at
your beginning projects after you have some time under your belt.

God Bless! Spirithorse

Lew, I came back to add,  you say you work with tin also.  I for one would be real interested in seeing what you make with it.

I'll post a few pics just for those who may be interested!  Thanks!

it sure is interesting to me, the variety of other hobbies that people have on this sight. I can not find enough time to do my scrolling, let alone an added hobby on top of that. Thanks for posting your tin work. I enjoyed seeing it and hope to see even more of your work posted here in the near future
