Clayton717 Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Here is my latest intarsia. This was a custom order for a member on another forum. This is his company logo. He posted the logo to be made into a scrolling pattern, and asked if someone would make an intarsia project out of it. I reworked the original pic a little to come up with the pattern I used for it. The turkey is abot 13"x 10". It's made from aspen- eyes & tooth, aromatic cedar- eyebrows neck and tips of tail feathers, cherry- face and tail feathers, poplar- shovel head, paduak- shovel handle, walnut- body and wings, wenge- handle head and claws, yellowheart- beak legs feet and hardhat. susieq4131 Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 Clayton, What a great job! You have intarsia down to a fine science! Beautiful job! At this time of year, a turkey might want to be packing a gun. lol SQ Quote
Clayton717 Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Posted September 12, 2010 thanks for the comments Susie. My friend I showed it to before I sent it to the customer said the same thing about a gun. Quote
