edward
Had a customer ask me how long the batteries last in the Mini clock inserts, told them I wasn't sure, but I think they last for a while., just curious if anyone knows. edward
Brianr24
I don't know why don't they time it.
fredfret
Depends on the insert but most last around 9 to 12 months. Fredfret
JTTHECLOCKMAN
Over a year if fresh. It can depend on the quality of the insert also. I have a watch I wear all the time and the battery in it is over 2 years old. Basically the same with small inserts. oldhudson
Based on my personal experience with one in the shop that I've had for about 12 years and without keeping real records, I'd say 10-11 months.

Lucky2
Why would it matter, they would have to change the batteries anyway. And there's to many factors, to be taken into consideration to get a correct answer. You would need to know the amount of power the clockworks requires to keep it running. And then there's the batteries, what type are the strongest or last longer then any others. I've had clock that ran over two years on a new Duracell battery, and I've had clocks that seems to need new batteries about every two months. So tell them you have no idea, tell them it all depends upon how old and weak the batteries they choose to use are. The best bet, would be to tell them about a year at the very least.
