Fish
Just an idea I saw... if you bought a jet and don’t like the table cause your catching wood in the slot, cover it w laminate With just the one hole in the table. I’m not sure if this came up here before but it would work. OCtoolguy
OCtoolguy
I think Kevin did this to his Dewalt saws. He says it works great. Ray
MTCowpoke22
I tape a playing card over the slot. I did that on my old Delta for years. It's usually not to hard to find an old used up deck. Then I've got 54 table inserts. Punch a hole in the middle, and tape it down the clear packing tape.
jollyred
I have used transparent shelf liner to cover the table on my DeWalt, and it works pretty well. Don't even have to wax the table to get it slippery.
JTTHECLOCKMAN
I put a piece of plexiglass on both my Hawks and a piece of BB on my Hegner to increase table size as well as make it slicker.
Fish
Interesting ideas. I had used plexiglass on my dewalt until I saw the laminate idea from Kevin. I’m going to do that on my new Excalibur
