Need some advice

I was involved in a lawsuit and it was finally settled. I received my check yesterday. Thought about investing some, maybe taking a trip. Anyway, what would you do if you won a law suit and received a check for $2.47? It probably cost them twice that to mail my check.

I've been involved in as few " lawsuits" that the Lawyers make a lot more then those involved. What a shame for those that suffered. Class action suits are not about those that are violated.

My wife gets checks like that every month - we saved them for a few months and went to lunch, Just enough for us to split a whopper meal LOL

Tough decision!  I struggled with the same kind of problem once when I won Publishers Clearing House - Got a check for $10.00!

Myson passed on and he didn't want his body cut up and his body parts were not be given whereneeded.( his wishes0 we got a call after he was cremated and they wanted his ear drums, We know they took the parts with out asking and there was a class action sute about this we signed up and got $4000 , I can imagine whaat the lawers got.

I would urge caution.  Spend some time thinking it over.  Perhaps talk to a financial planner.  Remember the saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted".
