jblock9907 Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 I was involved in a lawsuit and it was finally settled. I received my check yesterday. Thought about investing some, maybe taking a trip. Anyway, what would you do if you won a law suit and received a check for $2.47? It probably cost them twice that to mail my check. new2woodwrk, ChelCass, Phantom Scroller and 3 others 3 3 Quote
Chiloquinruss Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 Harbor Freight has some nice 'chip brushes' for $.64 each, so your new windfall would allow you to add 3.85 brushes to your tool chest! Russ https://www.harborfreight.com/2-in-chip-brush-61497.html ChelCass 1 Quote
wombatie Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 Boy what a wind fall. Don't spend it all at once will you. Marg Quote
WayneMahler Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 I've been involved in as few " lawsuits" that the Lawyers make a lot more then those involved. What a shame for those that suffered. Class action suits are not about those that are violated. amazingkevin 1 Quote

jerry1939 Posted March 22, 2018 Report Posted March 22, 2018 I would urge caution. Spend some time thinking it over. Perhaps talk to a financial planner. Remember the saying, "A fool and his money are soon parted". jerry Scrolling Steve 1 Quote
