Rural Patti
I just recently bought a brand new HP computer and it has Windows 7 in it. Before, I had a computer with XP and the software of Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 worked great on this, for I was able to create all my own patterns. As I downloaded this software into the new computer and tried to create a pattern - find that it is NOT COMPATIBLE with Windows 7. Been told that PSP 9 is very similar to the 7, but I would really like to know if this is compatible with Windows 7 or am I going to be going through all of 'no where' as I found out with PSP7. Sure don't want to spend that kind of money for software and find out it won't work. So, if anyone could possibly help me, and let me know about the compatibilities of such software w/Windows 7 I would greatly appreciate. And, we used to have 'dial up' while now we have Wild Blue Satellite. Thank you
Oges
Hi Patti, It looks as though you will need the newer version Corel PaintShop Photo Pro X3 to use with Windows
Rural Patti
Hi Brett - thanks for answering. Have one question, are you from Austraila? Lost contact with a Brett from there - and from my knowing of that person (a couple of years ago), he was quite knowledgeable about allot of things, which you seem to be. Anyway, could you please tell me why I would need to get Coral Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 - is that like Paint Shop Pro 7 & 9? Or, does that mean I have to have this Pro X3 in order to be able to use the PSP 9? Looking forward to your reply! Thanks!

Rural Patti
Thanks David I just downloaded the trial version of Corel Paint Shop Photo Pro X3 Hopefully, I will be able to figure out how to make the patterns. I am most definitely NOT computer/software savvy so this all confuses me. I have the Adobe Photo 4 and couldn't understand it at all Keep fingers crossed for me! Vector01
Try contacting the software manufacturer and ask if they have a "fix" for that compatibility issue with Win7. A lot of software companies are playing catchup trying to resolve these problems with W7.
