spotsdad
Good day all. My name is Dick and I reside in the Bruce Peninsula area of Canada. I found this site through another site and have been loving since. I haven't used my saw for a lot of years but hope to get back to it. Life gets in the way all to often. Most of the stuff I do is fretwork. I did try one intarsia project. It was a snowman for my Mom. Here is some of the stuff I did. Can't show pics of most because i have given most of it away. heppnerguy
Nice to have you on board with us. You should soon discover that we are a friendly and helpful group. I can't for the life of me figure out how you could possibly be able to stay away from your scroll saw. I live in Southern Arizona and we have several Canadian's that own houses on our street. I am not sure about the snow in your area but for us, it is in the upper 80's right now, which is the normal temperatures for this time of the year. I hope you start spending more time in your shop with that scroll saw so we can see more of your work. I too enjoy fret work the most and then I guess it might be intarsia next. Hope to see you on here a lot. Dick heppnerguy spotsdad
spotsdad
Thanks for the warm welcome. i have already realized that this forum is full of very helpful and friendly people. Right now while we don't have snow to speak of the temps are still around the freezing mark. i just ordered some new blades so hopefully I can get back into scrolling.
