treefish
Hi everyone, my wife and I both scrollsaw. So sometimes her brain cells tickle my brain cells, what few we have. We end up coming up with an idea such as the subject of this article. At Hobby Lobby and other craft stores they sell glitter foam and normal colors of foam. These sheets of foam can be sawn with the scrollsaw by sandwiching them between pieces of wood. The only catch is that you can't go down real small on the detail with the foam. If you cut a piece of glitter foam and then use another color of glitter foam as a background you can achieve some very dramatic looks. Some interesting color combinations is silver and black or gold amd purple, whatever your imagination can come up with. Yeah I know some of you are wood only but art is art, put the glitter foam behind a wood piece. Gary

Huntter2022
Gary doesn't matter if it is wood , metal or foam it still is scrolling and interesting . Seem like you could take a pattern and white out some of the cuts and still have a lovely piece of art Please start a album I for one would love to see what you have done.
