Rockytime
I finally got around to using the tubes I purchased a couple of months ago. Replaced the PVC tubes I had been using. I guess the thing I like the most is the fact I can remove a tube and keep it next to the saw. I frequently stop at some point on a project and when I returned to it I could not remember what blade I was using. I don't remember much period. new2woodwrk, spotsdad, Fab4 and 4 others 6

Up until now, I have been leaving a sticky note on the table of my saw with the brand name and all the info for the blade that is in the saw. Mainly because, like you, I can't remember much anymore. jbrowning
I have that same issue. So I keep all my blades away from the scroll saw and only have a package of the blades I'm using next to the saw. SCROLLSAW703
Trust me jes, you're not alone. my Father used to tell me forgettin' things comes with age. As Doc Holliday once said "not me, I'm in my prime"! Well, the prime is gone, I'm afraid, but the clock hasn't struck midnight. yet. My memory ain't what it used to be, I admit it. The biggest mistake I make is thinkin' I'll remember that, I don't need it to write it down. Yea right! I don't keep any blades around the saw except the ones I'm usin'. Confusion sets in, & then a huntin' party to look for blades if I keep to many. JustLarry
I was standing at the shop door with my hand on the door knob - could not remember if I was going in or coming out. I keep the blades I am using away from the others. Larry SCROLLSAW703, spotsdad, OCtoolguy and 1 other 1 2
dgman
I to keep my blades in tubes in a stand. I keep the tube of the blade I am currently using out of the stand so I know which blade I am using. jollyred
I use those same tubes to store my blades, and keep them all in a plastic box. Then I made a small holder for one tube which I attached to the scroll saw stand, so I could keep the tube I am currently using close to hand. The box is stored under the scroll saw stand. Woodmaster1
I also keep mine in tubes because there is no way I could tell what size the blade is. SCROLLSAW703
loftyhermes
I collected old Steradent tubes, drilled holes in a block of wood, marked one corner hole and that's the blade in use. happy scrolling Steve OCtoolguy

I was thinking of making something like this for my shop as well - gotta think on it. I'll use peg board though since I have so much of that stuff left after my cleat system SCROLLSAW703 and OCtoolguy 1
