Montserrat
Cutting/Serving Boards Caribbean Rosewood. Since I am close to Music City... I thought why not. The wood was fairly expensive, so just to break even, I would have to charge 10 dollars per board. They are 10 x 7" . Do you think they would sell at a craft show? new2woodwrk
Now that is very cool! I agree over $10 easy! Ok so you have an SG, make a Les Paul, Strat and Telecaster and you've got the most popular shapes LOL Great idea! don in brooklin on
great idea. I would charge more that $10 for sure if not everyone thinks they are from China and not hand made, Montserrat
spirithorse
Nice looking projects. I agree that they are worth more than $10 each but, each area is different for what people will spend. God Bless! Spirithorse Montserrat

JTTHECLOCKMAN
Never would I use wood that nice for a cutting board. Too many other projects that would look nice on. Not a fan of using oily woods for cutting boards either. Contaminate foods and no way to seal them. That is why Maple is used alot. This is just me and my opinion. Nice work on the cutting though. Make a nice clock. Montserrat

Montserrat
I made some more, this time from white oak, partially spalted. Now I am told the spalted can't be used in the kitchen with food. Opinion? new2woodwrk and Sam777

kmmcrafts
Cutting boards can be a tricky situation f you don't know your wood types.. and I see it all the time at shows.. .. if they are glue ups you need a water proof food safe glue for cutting boards etc.. I'd make them into clocks or you could always scroll a head shot if some music stars.. I've seen them with beetles and jimmy Hendrix etc... just some other ideas.. But i wouldn't sell them as cutting boards..
