The first pic is from today.  The others from a few months ago.  Small, cramped, cluttered, and dusty, but it's mine.  When we built our house, I had the extra bay built with a wall and door between it and where we park our cars.  I built the floor furniture.  Everything but the two work benches (far wall and far left) are on casters.   I put my  bench grinder on my table saw when I shape my intarsia pieces.  Most all my  projects are scrolling, with an occasional honeydo for the house.  I give the shop and tools a good cleaning  between most projects.

Thanks for your post Travis. It's fun to see what others are doing. I don't quite understand. Over 3000 views and over 2000 members and so few workshops. Amazing as this is the friendliest forum I know of and I belong to several. I love it here.

My second shop at the woodworking club. It is the adult daycare center. Just a few pictures hopefully it shows where I go at least once a week. Sorry about the previous photos. I corrected the problem.

Wow. I don't know what I should be more impressed with? The size - it's larger than the lot my house sits on. The wealth of equipment - I counted 3 band saws THREE. The cleanliness - my goodness do you have paid staff that comes in and cleans the shop every night? Beyond belief, maybe all the pics are "photoshopped"

Adult daycare. I hope someone places me in that kind of daycare someday. I have never seen a place like that before. Is it a community effort or co-op?

No staff to clean it is you made the mess you cleanup the mess. It's stays really clean considering it gets used by 20--30 members a day. The club has 300 members but 35 is the most that has been in their at a time.

No it is a club open to anyone for a $50 a year membership fee. It was built by an industrialist who likes woodworking. The club operates from membership fees, lunches and wood sales. I came upon it by a former woodworking student I had the first year I taught. I have been a member for 2 1/2 years and the club is 11years old.

Howdy guys/gals,, just found your site recently.  I know this is an old thread but I enjoyed looking at everyone else's shops and thought that I would post a short video of mine.  Hope the link works.

@flarud Welcome to the village. Lots of friendly helpful people here. Nice shop it looks very organized and clean! Yes, a shop is never big enough, no matter how big it is.

This my small workshop 3.6 x 1.8 mtrs

1. This the outside.

2. Small workbench and battery powered tools.

3. Right side is my scroll saw and wood lathe.

4.Left hand side is my work bench for gluing and finishing. I have a air brush and   wood burning.

5. I have a flow over bench in my garage for thicknesseer and oscillating sander.

My wife has said no more tools I am running out of space.

Nice little shop. When my wife and I move, I want a little shop away from the house.  I don't need big, no more big project for me.  It is surprising what a person can do in a small shop.  Mine is what was to be a half of a small 2 car garage.  Maybe 17' x 12".  I've build a 15" kayak, and a 12" hull for a sail boat in it.  You just have to stay pretty skinny.

Have you still go the boat? I would like to build a boat but no room. we are only 10 minute walk to the river and the same to the pacific ocean.

I had to give up the kayak.  My back just could not take the sitting the way you have to sit in a kayak.  But it was worth the build.  I enjoyed it a lot.  The 12 sail boat hull I still have.  Needs one more sanding and then paint.  Only thing left to build it the mast, boom and sail.  I started it over 10 years ago,,,,, think I will ever finish?

Well my shop is a big mess, have not had any time to clean it up. But it is a real good thing.
