Very creative and unusual. This is the kind of ingenuity that I love to stumble on in The Village. I am useless when it comes to trying to come up with a new way to do something or just a totally new idea. If you ask my wife, she may I could have stopped with 'I am useless" and there would have  been enough said already. This is a fresh and fun New Idea and I love it.

Thanks Dick, but remember that the ingenuity in this case is Steve Good's, not mine.

Having said that, I have that opposite problem to yours in that I am always coming up with new ways to do things and new projects and can only find time to do a very few of them.

Everything looks so neat and precise. A lid with a carry handle would make it complete. Gorgeous.

You are right, that would make it complete.  I had not thought of a handle in/on the cover.  Thanks for the suggestion.

When I sent a photo of the board with a drawer to Steve Good, he suggested that I add a cover.

So I did:

A cover is exactly what was needed.  I made one out of Baltic birch plywood remnants, attached it with 3 draw latches and installed a wooden handle on the top..  It is quite heavy, but easy to transport.

I hope that this project is finally complete. 🤔

Very nice work all aspects of it. I am not a stick people fan but steve does a great job with his patterns. I saw on Facebook the other day someone did a cool thing with the stickmen projects and that was made them big enough to accept a small picture frame and used his friends and family in the frames. Makes some meaning with the stickmen.
