Some projects of late

Here are a few things I have done lately...did the butterfly also...used 1/4 inch oak with a backer for a change to it.

The Eagle is an inlay I was playing with...The Cape Breton one is where I live Cape Breton Island..

Those look geat Gord are the 5 oclock piece and the wine piece your own patterns? Where in cape Breton do you live been over there a few times years ago visiting family in glace bay.

Hi there yes the butterfly is cut from same piece of wood..this is a Steve Good pattern which of late is quite popular.

Hi Todd,yes those are my own patterns..I have to tweet them up a bit and will post them.

I live in Marion Bridge just outside of Sydney...I am about 35 kilometers from Glace Bay..I have a lot of customers from the bay.

I also have relatives there..

Thanks Kevin..yes the Chevy one was a first timer..All cuts had to go in same direction to get them to stand out.

I made one cut in wrong direction,but I just glued it into place.Next Chevy one,I am going to make a bit larger.

Great cutting Gordie. I really love the first two. I have the pattern for the butterfly also. I guess I might as well cut it to. Everyone else is. I like the backer idea to. You can almost put any color you want back there.
