new2woodwrk Posted April 21, 2018 Report Posted April 21, 2018 (edited) Due to a request, I've made a tutorial of how I make my frames. I've posted the tutorial on my blog here: How to make easy custom sized picture frames It's in 5 parts - because there are a few side pieces I added for completion and understanding Feel free to let me know if something isn't quite right with it - I believe it is complete, but it's possible something was missing during the upload. I hope it is of value to someone and not too confusing :( Oh, at the end of Part 5 is a PDF of the complete process for download Thanks in advance Edited April 21, 2018 by new2woodwrk JustLarry, Lucky2, OCtoolguy and 2 others 3 2 Quote

JustLarry Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 Thanks Jes. Very good presentation. I use Steve's instructions for my jig also. Simple yet very effective. I recently got the Grrriper. It now has a saw mark on it. Rather that than a finger. Larry new2woodwrk and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote

Larry Good for you - I've lost a few rungs on mine as well as sacrificing a few push sticks to the table saw demon OCtoolguy 1 Quote
lew Posted April 22, 2018 Report Posted April 22, 2018 Thanks Jes!! Excellent tutorial! I spent the last 40 years in field service and have been reading and following technical instructions and directions for installs and maintenance...but you nailed it...very precise and understandable! Even I may be able to make a good frame now!!! I started reading the parts but I am going to download the PDF and print the document so I can have it in the workshop! Thanks!! We all appreciate the work you put into it to help others! new2woodwrk and OCtoolguy 1 1 Quote
